ACIC to focus on use of FPR composite materials

The eighth Advanced Composites in Construction (ACIC) conference will focus on the use of fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials in new and existing all-FRP structures as well as strengthening, refurbishment and reinforcement applications in traditional infrastructure. The three-day international event will kick-off from September 5, 2017.

The biennial conference will throw light on current issues within the construction industry. It will include presentations on topics such as latest research and developments on materials and products, cutting-edge applications and design protocol among others. Case studies and statistical analysis will also be a part of the conference.

The international conference will be a platform for the exhibitors to raise brand awareness, enhance their digital profile, engage the audience and market their product. The event will witness participation of practicing engineers, asset managers, researchers and representatives of regulatory bodies, exchanging scientific and technical information on the rapidly changing scene of advanced composites in construction.
