Boyd Technologies to launch Sourcebook sourcing website

Boyd Technologies, a leading supplier of advanced flexible materials, has announced the launch of its Sourcebook material sourcing website, www.sourcebookmaterials.com and its planned go live on May 15, 2015.

Sourcebook is a vertically integrated material sourcing solution developed by Boyd Technologies and focused on improving search, comparison, and sampling of advanced flexible materials.

The website, which will be launched at the EWMA tradeshow in London, is expected to display the specifications of thousands of advanced flexible materials from hundreds of global material manufacturers. These materials include composites, extruded nets, films, foams, foils, membranes, nonwovens, technical papers, and technical textiles, the company informed in a press release.

Hannah DeLisle the company’s senior director of quality & materials said, “Our launch of the Sourcebook website is the culmination of years of work and collaboration with material suppliers.”

The company’s Sourcebook engineer, Brianna Sporbert, said “We expect Sourcebook to change the way our industry thinks about material sourcing. The company is expecting to have over 6,500 commercially available materials in Sourcebook by its launch date and is projecting growth of 15 per cent each quarter. Sourcebook provides one globally comprehensive source, with comparable data, and overnight material samples – everyone is really excited about its potential impact.”
