Hyosung TNC has succeeded in developing and using nylon for the liner material of hydrogen vehicle fuel tanks with its own technology, the first of its kind for a Korean company. Hyosung TNC's nylon material is superior to conventional metal and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner materials in terms of lightweight, gas barrier, and impact resistance.

Hyosung, Saudi Aramco sign MoU on carbon fibres

South Korean textile conglomerate Hyosung Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company, to cooperate on carbon fibre technology. The MoU was among the 12 deals signed between South Korean firms and Aramco on the occasion of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Seoul this week.
