Davy Group acquired by the Barnet Group

The Davy Group, which deals with technical textile fibres and yarns, has become part of the Barnet Group. The assets of the Davy Group have been acquired by Barnet Europe, headquartered in Aachen, Germany. Barnet Group of companies has a presence either processing or buying and selling of fibres, yarns and polymers in over 70 countries worldwide.

“This is a positive event and transaction for both our companies, our associates and our business partners. We will continue to operate from the same locations and you will deal with the same people. However, The Davy Group will now operate within Barnet Europe as a business unit known as Barnet-Deavy technical Fibres,” a statement from Barnet Group said.

“The integration of The Davy Group will begin immediately with Barnet Europe's Andreas Weisbecker working alongside and coordinating with Andrew Davy,” it said.

This will create a seamless transition and there will be little or no change in daily activities.

“The combination of similar histories and philosophies, knowledge, supply, distribution and processing capabilities will greatly expand our activities in all forms of recycled and virgin technical fibres and yarns,” it said.

Barnet Europe is part of the Barnet Group of companies that has a presence either processing or buying and selling of fibers, yarns and polymers in over 70 countries worldwide. As mentioned, Barnet Europe is headquartered in Aachen, Germany, Barnet USA in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Barnet Pacific in Hong Kong, Barnet Trading in Shanghai and Barnet India in Mumbai. (SV)
