Freudenberg bags first ever Filtrex Innovation Award

Germany based Freudenberg Filtration Technologies bagged the first ever Filtrex Innovation Award, which were announced at Filtrex Europe and which was held concurrently with Index 17 in Geneva. The Filtrex Innovation Award recognises efforts of producers of nonwoven based filtration products in their continuous efforts for excellence and innovation.

Freudenberg was honoured for their Micronair blue filter, which is a highly efficient four-layer particle filter that features a patented two layered filter media focusing on PM 10 and PM 2.5 particles as well as a combi-filter that protects against harmful gases and an anti-allergen filter layer.

The five nominees, who also included Ahlstrom, Europlasma, Johns Manville and Sandler, presented a 10-minute showcase each, of their innovation during the conference. (AR)
