At FILTECH 2022, Sandler is set to present efficient synthetic filter media for HVAC, automotive, and home care applications, in booth L8, hall 7, from March 8-10, 2022, in Cologne, Germany. In the field of indoor air quality Sandler will showcase innovative pocket filter media as well as pleatable nonwovens for ventilation and air-conditioning.

Germany’s BASF and foam specialist, Neveon, are working together to further develop the recycling of mattresses. The aim is to establish a closed product loop for mattresses. Currently, discarded mattresses are mainly thermally recycled or disposed of in landfills. BASF and Neveon want to change this and return mattress foams to the product life cycle.

Malouf is set to launch hybrid mattresses. The Peak line is the product of the three-tier Malouf mattress offering, which also includes Embark and Ascend mattresses. The mattresses will all be available for preview at Las Vegas Market from January 23-27, 2022, in the Malouf showroom at, B1350. Customers buy the brand to complete their sleep system.

The Standardisation Administration of China has issued an updated version of its national product standard for bedding - GB/T 22796-2021. This revised standard will become effective from February 1, 2022. Being included in China’s No. 12 announcement on the approved national standards in 2021, this new standard replaces its previous five standards.
