The Advanced Textiles Products (ATP) division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), together with the International Antimicrobial Council (IAC) is organising a webinar. The objective of the webinar is to offer IFAI members with crucial information on protecting fabrics from moulds, mildews, and harmful bacteria.

Judy LaZonby, laboratory director at MicroStar Lab, an IAC Certified Lab specialising in fungal resistance and antimicrobial activity testing will feature in the webinar.

While MicroStar founder Lazonby, will review the various testing programs available for confirming that textiles can resist damaging microbes and also discuss the critical importance of testing consistency to yield dependable data and reassurance for fabric manufacturers.

"Standard tests are intended to show the efficacy of the antimicrobial treatment, so selection of the proper test is critical for showing their potential performance," Lazonby said. (AR)
