K-C bags five Effie Awards for 2014 commercial programmes

Kimberly-Clark Corporation was awarded five Effie Awards, including one Silver and three Bronze for its 2014 commercial programmes for Depend, Poise, and U by Kotex brands at the 47th annual North American Effie Awards, in New York.

The company was also recognised as the No. 3 most effective marketer in North America in 2014 on the North American Effie Effectiveness Index Rankings.

Kimberly-Clark and its agency partners won North American and Positive Change Effie Awards in the category of personal care; a Silver Effie Award for U by Kotex “Save the Undies” commercial programme and Bronze Effie Award for Poise “Put SAM in Your Pants” commercial programme.

In the category of Healthcare – OTC, the company won a Bronze Effie Award for Depend “Drop Your Pants for Underwareness” commercial programme. In the Disease Awareness & Education - Pharma/Corporate category, it won a Bronze Effie Award for Depend “Drop Your Pants for Underwareness” commercial programme, according to a company press release.

K-C won Positive Change Effie Award in the North America - Single Market and got a Bronze Effie Award for Scott Naturals Tube-Free “Toss the Tube” commercial programme. Kimberly-Clark and its agency partners were also nominated as North American Effie Award finalists in the categories of Engaged Community, for Depend “Drop Your Pants for Underwareness” commercial programme, Goodworks – Brands, and Personal Care for Huggies “The Second Hug” commercial programme.
