K-C's Kotex brand unveils U by Kotex sport ultrathin pads

Kimberly-Clark’s U by Kotex brand has launched U by Kotex Sport ultrathins, thin and flexible ultrathin pads.

The pads are designed for women to help them lead a fit, active and protected life style.

Gabrielle Davidson, senior brand manager for the U by Kotex brand said, “We know that exercise plays a big role in the lives of many Australian women. While most women will not let their periods stop them from working out, many are concerned that their current pads aren’t able to stand up to the challenge.”

The new product is designed specifically to protect women during sports. With a super-absorbent FLEXFIT Core that has been shaped to mould and contour to the body as it moves the new ultrathins are designed to keep women comfortable and protected during even their most vigorous workout, K-C informs in a statement.

The Sport ultrathin pads will also have ‘stay in place’ wings, and a breathable quick-dry cover that is noticeably thinner and discreet. The Sport ultrathins are the second product in the U by Kotex active range, joining U by Kotex Sport Liners, which were launched in 2013 and are designed for out of period use to help keep women fresh and dry during workouts.

New U by Kotex Sport ultrathins will be available in regular and super sizes at Woolworths, independent supermarkets, and leading pharmacies. (GK)
