Kordsa wins award for energy efficiency applications

Kordsa, a global player of tire, construction and composite reinforcement technologies market, has won the Jury’s Special Award in the ‘Project Contest on Energy Efficiency in Industry’ category for using energy efficiency applications. The awards were organised by the ministry of energy and natural resources, renewable energy directorate general of Turkey.

Kordsa receieved the award for installing energy efficiency applications in a bid to take a sustainable approach.

The contest was organised to increase information exchange between the industrial businesses and to encourage new and similar applications.

Kordsa’s award plaque was bestowed by the ministry of energy and natural resources undersecretary Fatih Dönmez at the award ceremony that took place during the 8th Energy Efficiency Forum and Fair held in Istanbul.

The award was accepted by Ali Çaliskan, Kordsa’s deputy director general responsible of Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. (KD)
