Austria’s technology group, Andritz, has successfully started up its latest-generation tearing line for spinning grade fibres delivered to Sasia at its Ribeirão premises, Portugal. Andritz, a supplier of plants, equipment, and services, has bagged an order from Ukrainian manufacturer of household and hygiene products, Biosphere, to deliver its first neXline spunlace line. The spunlace line will enable Biosphere to produce fabrics from 30 to 70 gsm, with an hourly output of up to 3,000 kg/hr after the second commissioning phase.

International technology group Andritz has received an order from Fouani Nigeria to supply two baby diaper lines for its facilities in Lagos. The lines will produce a wide range of top-class diaper products with absorbent cores made of pulp and SAP (super absorbent polymer).
