Norafin inaugurates first American production site

Norafin Industries has recently inaugurated its first American production site in Mills River, North Carolina. The site with a new state-of-the-art spunlace line and modern lab and offices is expected to create 45 new positions by the end of 2018. Norafin has invested around €20 million in the new production facility in the last 12 months.

DuPont increasing Tyvek production

DuPont Safety & Construction, a business unit of DowDuPont Specialty Products Division, plans to invest more than $400 million to increase capacity for the manufacture of Tyvek nonwoven materials at its facility in Luxembourg. R2G takes First Quality’s US, China nonwovens business
