Pegas Nonwovens SA will set up a new semi-commercial production line at the plant in Znojmo, a major town in the Czech Republic. The plant is expected to begin its operation in the fourth quarter of the year 2019. Pegas Nonwovens has signed a contract with Reifenhäuser Reicofil GmbH & Co. KG which will deliver a new production line for the Znojmo plant.

The annual production capacity of the RF5 Bico FHL R&D 2F production line will depend on the raw materials used as input and the materials produced which will reach about 8,000-15,000 tonnes. “The installation of the production line will not require significant changes in infrastructure at the Znojmo plant,” said a press release of the company.

“The production line is based on an entirely new technology and represents a unique opportunity for our further development and the commercialisation of new products”, said František Rezác, chief executive officer and member of the board of Pegas Nonwovens.

Pegas Nonwovens is one of the leading global producers of nonwoven textiles for use primarily in the personal hygiene product markets.

Reifenhäuser Reicofil GmbH & Co. KG is a leading provider of complete nonwovens and composite lines. Through its technologies and innovative spirit, it enables customers to produce economic, reliable and sustainable nonwoven fabrics. (VM)
