Performance Days fair, the world’s first tradefair for innovations, trends, and sourcing of fabrics and accessories in functional sportswear, athleisure, corporatewear, and workwear category, has announced its latest focus topic “Thermal Technologies- from Fibre to Smart Textiles”. The exhibition will take place on November 8 and 9, 2017, in Munich, Germany.

As the upcoming fair will deal with the Winter 2019/20 KickOff, the focus topic will showcase all necessary information about keeping the warmth longer close to the body or generating heat by fibres, yarns, knit and woven constructions, isolation by down/padding and smart textiles.

The topic will also have discussions on new innovations, how to handle thermal trade-off of warmth and weight, and how to compare different technologies. All the questions will be answered by the unique guided tours, workshops, and presentations.

Every Performance Days fair has featured a dedicated theme, the focus topic that deals with a developing core trend in functional clothing. The expo team brings together experts, researchers, and speakers who share valuable information during a program presented on the second day of the fair. The results of this effort are on exhibit at the performance gate of the performance forum and also presented in a leaflet summarising the key information. (GK)
