Porcher Industries acquires Cordtech International

French producer of technical textiles and composites Porcher Industries has acquired another French company Cordtech International, which is into processing and treatment of industrial fibres for the car market. Porcher Industries has bought Cordtech from investment company RDC15, which had earlier acquired assets of Cordtech from US based Milliken.

Through this acquisition, Porcher Industries aims to develop one of its principal markets, the automotive sector, and will help it to strengthen its offering, in particular through the existing technical, sales and R&D synergies between the two entities.

Porcher Industries, which was bought five months ago by British investment fund Warwick Capital Partners, generates annual revenues of €100 million and offers airbags, exhaust systems, chassis, brake hoses, transmission belts, etc to the automobile market. (AR)
