Philippe Hanck is DuPont’s Asia Pacific business director

Philippe Hanck has been named business director of Asia-Pacific for DuPont Performance Polymers.

In this role, he will lead the company’s efforts to strengthen its position as the leading supplier of performance polymers in automotive, consumer electronics, and other diversified industries. His responsibility includes leading teams in China, Japan, Korea, India, and the countries in South East Asia and Australia, according to a company press release.

Hanck joined DuPont in 1987 in sales and marketing in France. In 1995, Hanck joined DuPont Engineering Polymers in Asia Pacific, holding various sales and business management positions. In 2011, Hanck was named Asia Pacific managing director for DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers business and led the team that obtained specialty growth and operating improvements.
