EDANA has opened submissions for the ‘Outlook Asia Innovation Award’, which will be awarded at the nonwoven personal care and hygiene products conference, Outlook Asia.

“Companies can nominate either a nonwoven or nonwoven-based product, or materials, components or service for personal care and hygiene,” EDANA said in a press release.

“These have to be developed, designed, manufactured and or meant for sale in North and South Eastern Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Indian subcontinent, while nominations can be from any point along the supply chain,” it explained.

Information about how to enter a submission to the award can be found on the event page on the EDANA portal.

“During the conference, shortlisted companies will then be given time to present to the delegates, with the winner announced on the second day,” the trade body explained.

“Outlook Asia, now in its third edition, is an established must-attend event for innovative companies based or with an interest in Asia Pacific,” Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA said.

“It is recognised as an opportunity for businesses across Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, to connect with companies within the nonwovens and related industries across the region,” he added.

“With the Innovation Award, we aim to showcase the opportunities for the industry being cultivated from across Asia,” Wiertx observed.

The Outlook Asia program will cover current and future product trends, consumption and purchasing trends, economic outlooks, market data, regulatory affairs and sustainability issues.

Additionally, the conference offers networking opportunities from across the global personal care products supply chain, ideal facilities for business meetings and topics tailored to needs of industry. (AR)
