Kimberly Clark elects Christa Quarles to BoD

Healthcare and well-being brand Kimberly Clark has elected the CEO of Opentable, Christa Quarles to its Board of Directors (BoD) with immediate effect for her strategic vision and for her financial and operational expertise.

Quarles was made the CEO of Opentable in November 2015, after serving as the company’s CFO. Prior to this, she was the chief business officer of Nextdoor. She has also held senior level positions with The Walt Disney Company. She started her career as the MD of Thomas Wiesel Partners.

She has done her graduation from Carnegie Mellon University, and Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Commenting on her appointment, Thomas Falk, chairman and CEO of Kimberly Clark said, “Christa is a proven leader with a track record of delivering results in the expanding world of digital commerce.”

“As we continue to execute on our growth strategy, I know Kimberly Clark will benefit from Christa's strategic vision and financial and operational experience,” he added. (MCJ)
