Tactical Products Group, or TPG, announced that the company has been awarded two multi-year contracts to provide products and services for the AFRICAP program on the continent of Africa. The contracts, estimated to be worth $5 million per year, call for the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), clothing and apparel, and other products used by military and private security professionals.

TPG burst into the tactical scene five years ago when they won their first contract to supply slings to the US Army in Mosul, Iraq. Since then, the company has supplied thousands of items to hundreds of customers around the world. Specializing in servicing global hot spots, TPG recently completed contracts in Pakistan, Uganda, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

TPG is the manufacturer of the Tacprogear line of products, a brand widely used throughout Africa and the Middle East. TPG is a Delray Beach, Florida based distributor and manufacturer of various tactical products used by military, law enforcement and private security professionals around the world.
