German firm SGL Carbon’s sales at $1.16 bn in FY23

Germany's SGL Carbon experienced a minor sales decrease to €1.08 billion ($1.16 billion) in FY23, a 4.1 per cent drop from the previous year, yet stayed within the expected forecast. Adjusted EBITDA also declined by 2.5 per cent to €168.4 million, but the firm saw a marginal improvement in EBITDA margin from 15.2 per cent to 15.5 per cent.

Indian firm Garware Technical Fibres reported a 5 per cent increase in Q3 FY24 net sales to ?289.4 crore and an 18 per cent increase in net profit to ?43.3 crore.
