Duni subsidiary Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid AB manufacturing tissue and airlaid material, will invest SEK 50 million in upgrading the airlaid machine in Skåpafors, Sweden. The investment will increase the airlaid capacity at Rexcell by about 25 per cent annually. The plan is to have the capacity upgrade installed during the second quarter of 2018.

"This investment comes at a time when demand for premium materials for napkins is on a rise. As a market leader in airlaid napkins across Europe, we will now have additional capacity to respond effectively to customer demand," said Johan Sundelin, president and CEO of Duni AB.

Duni’s airlaid material is utilised in producing Duni’s key napkin brands including Dunilin and Dunisoft. Rexcell manufactures tissue and airlaid material for both Duni and external customers. (RR)
