Safariland Group completes acquisition of three companies

US based producer of lifesaving and protective products Safariland Group said it has completed the acquisitions of Pacific Safety Products, Aegis Engineering Limited and LBA International Limited.

These acquisitions are expected to significantly expand Safariland's international capabilities in the body armour and tactical equipment markets.

Canada based Pacific Safety Products is a manufacturer of high-performance products for the defence and security markets. Products include body armour, ballistic blankets, tactical clothing and protective products against chemical and biological hazards.

Aegis, headquartered in the UK is a designer and manufacturer of personal protective apparel and equipment, including body armour, ballistic helmets, shields, blankets and rifle plates.

Also based in the UK, LBA is a global supplier of protective equipment, including hard armour plates and ballistic helmets to law enforcement officers and benefits from a track record of innovation through R&D. (AR)
