Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Petrochemical Company has announced that Advanced Polyolefins Industry Company has signed various Islamic facility agreements worth 6.1 billion Saudi riyals ($1.6 billion) with a consortium of financial institutions to finance the construction of three plants – PDH, PP and IPA plants – at the Jubail Industrial City II.

Ineos has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Aramco and Total, France, to build three new plants in Saudi Arabia. SABIC has developed an innovative new polypropylene (PP) resin product, SABIC PP 514M12, which delivers enhanced properties in melt-blown fibres for nonwoven fabrics. The product can serve a wide range of end-use products like diapers, sanitary napkins, etc. Beyond single-material and composite nonwovens, it can act as a base for colour master-batches.
