Techtextil will be participating at the upcoming Dornbirn Man-made Fibres Congress (MFC) to be held in Austria from September 20-22, 2016, with a stand, informing delegates the agenda at Techtextil 2017. In return, Dornbirn MFC will be given a three hour slot for lectures at the Techtextil Symposium 2017 and will also be given a stand at the trade fair.

“In sectors such as technical textiles and nonwovens that are driven by innovation there is a close link between research and application. The Dornbirn MFC provides a platform to present the results of the latest research, while Techtextil shows real life product innovations,” Michael Jänecke, director brand management - technical textiles & textile processing at Messe Frankfurt said.

“Our collaboration creates an even stronger link between research and practice and provides added inspiration for visitors to both events,” Friedrich Weninger, managing director of the Austrian Chemical Fibres Institute also said.

The 19th edition of the Techtextil Symposium will be held May 9-12 2017, in conjunction with Techtextil 2017 trade fair and features global experts from research and industry presenting current research results and products covering all aspects of technical textiles and nonwovens. (AR)
