Thermore, a leading company engaged in the research, production and marketing of thermal insulation for apparel, is now releasing its new outdoor version of EVOdown to the active sportswear and outdoor market, after its successful launch earlier to the fashion segment.

Described as the ultimate evolution in down alternatives, Thermore’s EVOdown is inspired by the soft hand of the highest quality down feathers, and is totally different from any other product available in the market, according to the company.

EVOdown can be described as a “rolled free-fibre composite” where two encapsulating layers stabilize the free fibres in the middle. Due to this unique construction, EVOdown does not have all the limitations of almost all other down alternatives.

The research and development team at Thermore, which never stops innovating, has been able to further enhance the performance of EVOdown, and the revolutionary product will be introduced globally during the forthcoming ISPO (Munich, Germany) and Outdoor Retailer (Salt Lake City, the US) trade shows.

The new, ‘outdoor version’ of Thermore EVOdown now offers an even better recovery and loft retention, the company said in a press release. Further, Thermore has completed the process of porting the EVOdown technology into all its Asian plants, thus making it globally available.

Staying true to its commitment to a cleaner environment, Thermore uses only first grade raw materials, and its EVOdown is already fully Bluesign Approved.

Founded in 1972 in Milan, Italy, Thermore has operations in Europe, the US and Asia, including production facilities in Thailand and offices in Hong Kong. The global presence of the Thermore Group makes it possible for international clients to benefit from its market leading experience at a convenient and cost effective price point. (RKS)
