Tricel Group launches Tricel Composites

The Tricel Group has announced that the distribution of composite materials will now be under the name Tricel Composites. The distribution companies Glasplies and Fibreglass Supplies (Leeds) will merge and be known as Tricel Composites (GB) and Tricel (Newry) will be known as Tricel Composites (NI). The group delivers innovative solutions for industries.

These companies form part of the highly successful Tricel Group which operates under the following four divisions; Environmental, Construction, Water, and Distribution which includes both composites and lubricants. The group has a long history of delivering innovative solutions for today’s ever-evolving industries.

As one of the UK and Irelands leading distributors of composite materials, the company supplies an extensive portfolio of product offerings to a variety of industries. Head of Distribution Division for Tricel, Robbie Larkin, commented: “Changing the name to Tricel Composites is part of our long-term growth strategy. We will continue to expand our share of the market and aim to become the leading distributor in both the UK and Ireland. Composite materials will be distributed out of three locations with depots based in Leeds, Southport and Newry.”

“The group has over 60 years of successful operations in the composite industry, both in manufacturing and distribution. This experience has helped us source high-quality raw materials from the world’s leading brands which we use to deliver exceptional technical expertise and solutions to our customers,” Larkin said.

The continued growth and success of the Tricel Group have resulted in the creation of over 90 jobs in the past 18 months alone. Tricel employs over 400 people, and the company’s current growth strategy reflects its strength in the market. Today, Tricel has over 12 operating locations throughout Europe and supply products to over 50 countries worldwide. (SV)
