Visitor numbers up 4.7% at Cinte Techtextil China

At the recently concluded technical textiles and nonwovens trade fair, Cinte Techtextil China, number of visitors visiting the show increased to 13,085, up 4.71 per cent over the 2014 trade show, which recorded 12,496 visitors. The top 10 countries from where buyers came were Korea, Taiwan, Japan, USA, India, Russia, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong and Thailand.

There were 480 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions participating at the fair as against 460 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions partaking in the 2014 show.

According to Messe Frankfurt, the organiser of the show, both the exhibitor and visitor numbers were new records for Cinte Techtextil China, while at 35,000 sq. metres, the fair was the same size as the previous edition.

“Attracting high-quality buyers both from China and other countries, including many new potential business partners for exhibitors, Cinte Techtextil China has further solidified its reputation in Asia as the leading trade event for the technical textiles and nonwovens industry,” Wendy Wen, senior general manager at Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said.

“Coupled with the strong demand in the region at present, which is predicted to continue in the coming years, particularly in China, the 2016 edition of the fair can be considered a strong success,” she added. (AR)
