Pfaff Industrial presents PFAFF 3590 vario, large-area sewing unit with zigzag machine head and higher output with special applications for sewing areas up to 850 x 400 mm

The new generation PFAFF 3590 large area sewing machines are high performance machines “Made in Germany”. Know-how and experience combined with the latest technology in engineering, drive and control technology set standards in terms of reliability and process stability.

The PFAFF 3590-6/8540 extends the features of the product generation by a variation with zigzag machine head. The predestined area of use is on products such as, for example, tactical vests or outdoor goods with a number of bartacks to be sewn. In the case of tactical vests, for example, there could be up to 60 – 80 bartacks within the sewing area (sewing frame for the 3590-6/8540: 850 x 400 mm).

The new PFAFF solution creates the bartacks through the movement of the needle bar and not through the motion of the entire frame. This significantly increases the performance (max. 2000 stitches/min.) and is gentler on both the machine and the material. The machine can be converted for straight stitch work by changing the parts set.

The machine was presented for the first time at the TEXPROCESS in Atlanta/USA (13–15.05.2014). In future, all versions of the PFAFF 3590 Vario can be equipped with a zigzag upper section.
