Alexium posts good progress on FR nylon treatments

Alexium International Group Limited announced continued progress on the commercial roll-out of Ascalon FR nylon treatments with its partner Duro Textiles and on project work for the US military. Alexium is on schedule to commence the transition of the Ascalon technology to Duro this spring and will be commencing initial production runs within 30 days. In addition to Duro and FR nylon treatments, Alexium is also working through about US$230K of project work for the military, to be completed in the coming months.

“We are seeing very good progress on FR nylon treatments and the transition phases. Production runs are about to start with Duro. In addition to the work with Duro, Alexium anticipates revenue growth from military contracts over the comings months.” stated Stefan Susta Chief Operating Officer.

Alexium has hit key technical transition milestones for Ascalon and is working with Duro to ramp up production capacity. This work is on schedule and a number of target fabrics will be introduced to the market by Duro in the coming months. In addition to anticipated sales revenues from these Ascalon treatments, Alexium is anticipating additional US$230K of revenues from military contracts over the next 6 months.
