ARRK joins UK's National Composites Centre as affiliate member

ARRK, a Japanese company that provides extensive prototyping & 3D printing services, has joined UK’s National Composites Centre (NCC) as an affiliate member. ARRK’s technical centre in Nuneaton has an established history in providing a range of engineering, tooling and composite solutions to leading aerospace, automotive, F1, and defence related companies.

The appetite for lightweight components continues to grow amongst most industry sectors and ARRK aims to play its part to deliver a more environmentally friendly and sustainable service. By working with the NCC, ARRK wishes to gain a better understanding of some of the new cutting edge practices, techniques and materials in conjunction with its parent company, Mitsui Chemicals, so that it can embrace some of these methods to ensure it is well placed to serve the needs of its customers well into the future, NCC said in a press release.

ARRK’s Nuneaton site provides a wide range of engineering, tooling, and composite services. These include large scale CNC machining, patterns, blow mould tooling, die cast foundry tools, composite tooling, jigs and checking fixtures, models, composite production components, and a paint and a finishing service.

We see this affiliation as a strong part of the ARRK business strategy of improving its current processes and introducing cutting edge technology as the heart of its growth plans. At ARRK, we share the vision of finding the best technologies and methods of manufacture to support decarbonisation and light weighting solutions in the ever-changing world we live in,” Paul Patterson, general manager for ARRK’s Nuneaton and Kings Norton sites said.
