Clim8, a French intelligent thermal technology company, has announced to expand the leadership team, as it surges toward the North American market. Created in 2016, Clim8 launched a disruptive patented thermal technology with premium brands in Europe (Odlo, Ixon) and South Korea (K2 Korea), and are well-positioned to expand its North America efforts.

With key partnerships already established with WLGore, Clim8 plans for growth in the US with a new organisation. First, Clim8 brings Jon Klein, ex- business development leader for PrimaLoft as North America VP of business development where he was instrumental in globalising commercialisation of Aerogel insulation technology within apparel and footwear. With over 20 years of industry experience, Jon will focus on developing new partnerships and market penetration.

Additionally, Claire Ortiz, ex-creative director at Nike, Jordan Brand, and global business director at Wilson (apparel, footwear & accessories) and previous North America VP Business Development at Clim8, will lead as marketing director of North America, while leading business development for her key accounts.

Clim8 further plans to announce new partnerships and product launches this winter 2020 with top global brands and will introduce its latest groundbreaking thermo-regulating technology in the US market. “Despite the difficult times, many US accounts showed a strong interest in Clim8 technology. To keep up the pace, and to reinforce our leadership in the heated clothing & accessories market, the complementary expertise of Ortiz and Klein will help Clim8 to push the boundaries to make our products better, safer and more sustainable than ever for the American users,” Florian Miguet, CEO of Clim8, said in a press release.
