Cristex, a supplier of high performance fibres and fabrics for composites and reinforced plastics markets, showed products for various markets like aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction, at the recently held Advanced Engineering Show for the ninth consecutive year. The show is the UK’s only dedicated event to the composites manufacturing industry.

The list of products on display was extensive, ranging from multi-axials to decorative woven fabrics, resins and adhesives to tubular braids and tapes. Saertex featured a fire-resistant material. The Saertex Leo Coated Fabric has the highest level of fire resistance integrated within the fabric and meets the most demanding fire protection requirements for rail transportation, the marine sector, and the construction industry, according to Cristex.

The Angeloni group displayed a range of decorative fabrics, stabilised carbon, and woven carbons. Elantas Europe displayed various epoxy resins and adhesive systems for the manufacturing of composite parts. Eurocarbon showcased a range of woven tapes, tubular, and flat braids that are mainly used in the composite industry.
