Foss Floors orders new production line from Dilo Group

Foss Floors, a specialist in needled carpeting, has ordered a new production line from DiloGroup, a pioneer in nonwoven textile machinery manufacturing. This will be 4th complete Dilo line to further enlarge the production capacity of Foss Floors. DiloGroup engineered this latest high-tech production system together with Fsoss, tailor-made for their needs.

In recent years, Foss Floors has become a major player in this sector of DI-Loop carpeting to include structured surfaces in rib and patterned quality. Mainly because of high quality requirements for the carpet product and a wide range of modern design patterns, needlefelt floor covering appeals greatly to architects and contractors for homes and commercial buildings. The range of aesthetically unique patterns and colours impresses by its tastefulness and timeless designs. The aim of gaining highly efficient additional capacity corresponds to a high demand for this particular carpeting from Foss Floors.

It will have a large production capacity at high fibre throughput rates, comprising fully automatic fibre opening and blending from Dilo Temafa, carding from Dilo Spinnbau in a wide working width, high-speed cross lapping as well as preened finish needling, designed for final product widths over 6 metres. The specialty DI-Loop machine with high-speed feature in a working width of 6.5 metres will complete this production

plant for the DI-Loop carpet sector.

The total plant is to be delivered, assembled and commissioned by DiloGroup as general contractor.
