In preparation for the 14th annual Global Outlook for Carbon Fiber conference, it's timely to consider the growing context and significance of this sector. External drivers continue to push for increased light weighting in transport applications, proliferation of renewable energy generation, and adoption of high performance materials to increase efficiency and productivity across the whole spectrum of end use markets.

IntertechPira's long running event exclusively focused at the carbon fiber industry, Global Outlook for Carbon Fiber, is the global leader in bringing market and technology analysis and high level end user perspectives to pave the way for future development in this sector. Last year's edition, taking place in Valencia, Spain, saw keynote presentations from Zoltek, Boeing, Airbus and General Motors, alongside contributions from key players in the carbon fiber supply chain.

This year, taking place in Hotel Monaco Seattle, Seattle - a core centre for carbon fiber composite production, the event will move to a whole new level with the best ever array of end user presentations across aerospace, automotive, wind energy, marine, military and other sectors. Interested parties are invited to submit papers for review by our program committee to ensure the highest caliber program for 2011.

Submission Guidelines:

• Please submit a brief abstract (up to 500 words) or title and bullet points
• Include a speaker bio (50-100 words), photo and organization logo
• Send details for your talk along with your name, job title and organization to GOCarbonFiber2011 Program Director, Lucia Bly at lucia@blys.co.uk
• All requests will be considered by the program committee, where they will be assessed for quality and relevance to this years agenda objectives
• GOCarbonFiber reserves the right to make final decisions regarding all presentations
