GRP Solutions and Ineous Composites will be showcasing a new plastic waste reducing resin on stand 050 at this year’s Advanced Engineering exhibition to be held from October 30-31 at NEC, UK. Advanced Engineering is UK's largest annual advanced manufacturing trade show that provides the opportunity to meet and network with OEMs and supply chain partners.

One of the key components of the innovative unsaturated polyester resin is recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). For every 220kg drum produced, approximately 1,800 plastic bottles are diverted from landfills and our oceans. Ineous Composites PET resin also offers to glass reinforced plastics manufacturers better overall performance than standard unsaturated polyester resins, at comparable cost levels.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for customers to meet leading professionals from our principle supplier, Ineous Composites, and find out about the plastic circular economy and making manufacturing processes greener. We are also excited to be showing our new sustainable solutions video at the exhibition," said Brian Harpur, managing director of GRP Solutions.

"We are delighted to be joining GRP Solutions to promote our new greener resin solution. You will also have the opportunity to hear our experts on October 31 present on composites and sustainability in the Composites Forum area," said Philippe Agustin, key account manager of Ineous Composites.

Ineous Composites manufactures and sells a broad range of general-purpose and high-performance grades of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, gelcoats and low-profile additives for the plastics industry. The products of Ineous Composites provide fabricated composite products with an array of functional properties including corrosion resistance, fire retardance, ultraviolet resistance, water and chemical resistance, high mechanical properties, thermal and electrical insulation, impact and scratch resistance and high strength-to-weight ratios.

GRP Solutions Ltd has a highly experienced team of composite and adhesive experts, dedicated to setting the standard in composite distribution.
