IDH (The Sustainable Trade Initiative) has launched a new platform, PPE Dashboard. The platform will support apparel factories to produce the needed equipment that meets the demand and specifications of PPE related to COVID-19. With partners, IDH designs, co-funds new economically viable approaches to realise green and inclusive growth at scale.

Around 600 factories with their equipment are listed in the dashboard and IDH is continuously working to include more suppliers. The dashboard offers factories a platform to list what they have manufactured, and to share their details to be found by organisations in need of PPE. It also provides factories with much needed information, such as standards from major geographies, over 200 global tenders, and raw material providers from 20 different countries, according to a press release by IDH.

Organisations in need of PPE can search for the equipment in the dashboard, and they can share their requirements and specifications to guide any new suppliers. This website aims to provide guidance to factories looking to produce PPE, as well as to broker relations between buyers and suppliers.
