Indian Technical Textile Association to host 12th AGM on Sept 28

The Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) will host its 12^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 28 at the Orchid Hotel in Mumbai. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, the textile commissioner, ministry of textiles, has agreed to grace the occasion as its chief guest. In addition to the regular business session, there will also be a Knowledge Sharing Session.

The welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Anup Rakshit, executive director, ITTA. Amit Agarwal, chairman ITTA and Avinash Misar, vice chairman, ITTA will also address the programme. Chief guest Roop Rashi Mahapatra will deliver her speech at 3.30 pm at the AGM, the organiser has said.

The knowledge sharing session will have two eminent speakers that will present and speak on the following important current topics on the technical textile industry — Laundry Industry for Hospitals - An Overview by Vivek Kulkarni, Ecolab India of Ecolab US; and Opportunities of Rubber reinforced materials used in Technical Textile products by Suchismita Sahoo, senior assistant director, Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association, Mumbai.

An MoU will also be signed between ITTA and SAMA during the AGM.
