Infinited Fiber is displaying its textile recycling technology at the ongoing Techtextil 2022, in hall 9.1, stand B81, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Infinited Fiber is a biotech that commercialises a breakthrough recycling technology that can turn cellulose-rich raw materials into high-quality textile fibres with the look and feel of cotton.

The key account director, Kirsi Terho, is giving a presentation on the recycling of technical textiles and the scaling up of innovation, in hall 9, level 1, stand D80 today, the company said in a media statement.

The patented technology takes piles of trashed textiles that would otherwise be landfilled or burned and transforms them into brand-new premium-quality fibres for the textile industry. While the company currently focuses on using cotton-rich textiles, the beauty of the technology is that it can also turn other cellulose-rich materials, old newspapers, used cardboard and crop residues like rice or wheat straw, into the same fibre.
