In view of the coronavirus pandemic, extension of confinement across Europe and tightening of travel restrictions world over, next session of JEC World will now be held in March 2021. It was earlier planned from May 12 to 14. The most important international exhibition for composite materials and their applications is held every year in March in Paris.

The JEC World team is now meeting everyone from March 9 to 11, 2021, in Paris Nord Villepinte.

A JEC Group survey of JEC World exhibitors revealed that 87.9 per cent of respondents were in favour of organising the next edition of JEC World from March 9 to 11, 2021.

Even if all the necessary preparations were carried out by the JEC World teams, the situation of COVID-19 with its travel restrictions, the containment measures and the clear preference of the exhibitors for the holding of the next session in March 2021, necessitated the postponement. All participants and partners will be contacted very soon in order to better manage the consequences of this decision.

As the leading trade fair for the composites sector and a composites festival, JEC World brings together the entire value chain of the composite materials sector, but also professionals in the fields of application of the latter, as well as scientific experts. and academics, associations and the media from over 112 countries.

“The whole JEC World team sincerely regrets this situation, especially after all the efforts made by all the actors concerned for the postponement in May. However, as of today, it is mobilising to prepare an edition of JEC World in March 2021 always richer in terms of innovations, knowledge sharing and business. The greatest moment of innovation and inspiration in the composite industry. We appreciate your understanding and support. Take care of yourself and your loved ones,” commented Eric Pierrejean, president of JEC Group.
