K-C's GoodNites Tru-Fit bags 'Product of the Year' award

Product of the Year USA has awarded Kimberly-Clark's (K-C) GoodNites Tru-FiT underwear, the 2015 Product of the Year award in the children's products category.

GoodNites Tru-Fit is cotton-blend underwear with disposable, absorbent inserts that washes and feels like regular underwear to provide outstanding night time protection for children who suffer from bedwetting.

"Nearly one-in-six children ages 4 -12 in the US wet their beds, so we created Tru-Fit as a discreet and reliable bedwetting solution that can also boost confidence of a child," says brand director Melanie Huet.

“We have heard such great feedback about kids who are already using Tru-Fit underwear, and we are extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award from Product of the Year USA," she added.

Product of the Year USA is the world's largest consumer-voted product award that recognises innovation in consumer packaged goods.

For the past six years, the company has annually surveyed tens of thousands of American shoppers asking them to judge products based on innovation, use, satisfaction and purchase intent.

GoodNites TRU-FIT, a machine-washable product is designed for boys and girls in sizes S/M and L/XL, feels like regular underwear and provides outstanding night time protection. (AR)
