Kordsa's additional polyester yarn line now operational

The new line equipped with the latest technology adds 7,000 tons of additional capacity, and will also produce the standard HMLS polyester yarn, a Kordsa press release said.

Kordsa Chairman Cenk Alper, wishing the line to be beneficial for Kordsa and the Sabanci Group, underlined that Kordsa’s innovation strength is an inspiration for Sabanci Group. Kordsa CEO Ali Caliskan said that Kordsa is taking firm steps towards building a second Kordsa with the strategic investments in three business lines. “As the reinforcer of every one out of three automobile tyres and every two out of three aircraft tyres, we touch every corner of life thanks to our recent investments.
