Maxcess appoints global director of aftermarket service

Maxcess, a global leader in innovative products and services for web handling applications, has named John Gallagher as global director of aftermarket service. Gallagher comes to Maxcess with aftermarket experience, including field service, project management and aftermarket/business development roles at Rockwell and most recently, manroland goss.

Gallagher holds business and MBA degrees from Central Lancashire and Lancaster Universities in the UK, according to a press release by Maxcess.

“Given the large installed base of our storied brands of Fife, Tidland, Magpowr, Webex, Valley Roller, Menges Roller and Componex, we identified an opportunity to enhance our aftermarket presence and grow our aftermarket sales of spare parts, service, repair and product upgrades on a global basis,” said Doug Knudtson, COO of Maxcess.
