NanoTextil, MATAC sign MoU to boost nanotech in Malaysia

NanoTextile Sdn. Bhd. recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malaysian Textile and Apparel Centre (MATAC) to strengthen the development, advancement and commercialisation of nanotechnology in Malaysia’s textile industry. The signing ceremony was held at the Technical Textiles & Smart Apparel (TTSA) National Seminar 2018 in Melaka.

This event was a platform for players in the country’s textile, apparel and fashion community.

The parties have expressed readiness to cooperate and to make joint efforts in sharing positive insights, initiatives and implementation of collaborative projects aim at responding to the emerging technologies and its adaptation growth in Malaysia’s textile industry, according to a Malaysian news agency report.
