Oxford Advanced Surfaces (OAS) will be exhibiting at JEC World 2019, the largest composites show in the world, which will run from March 12-14 at Paris. The company will be joining other innovators from UK composites sector in the ‘UK Pavilion’ that is supported by department for industrial trade. OAS will exhibit at the show for the fourth successive year.

OAS‘s unique Onto technology is a practical and effective solution to the surface preparation of composites, engineering plastics, and other advanced polymer materials. Onto removes the need for abrasion, vapour blasting, plasma or other surface preparations, said OAS in a media statement. Onto improves the adhesion of adhesives, paints, lacquers and coatings to the substrate.

“We’re delighted to showcase our Onto range of products that deliver significant performance and productivity benefits for the surface preparation and adhesion promotion of advanced materials,” said MD Jon-Paul Griffiths of OAS. “JEC is always a fantastic event for us with lots of interest in our products and innovative surface chemistry technology from composite professionals across the world. We’re looking forward to going back to Paris again in March and showing people adhesion promotion surface treatment products that will give customers more flexibility during the materials processing stage and increase the scope of the materials that can be surface treated for painting and lacquering with our products.” (PC)
