PrimaLoft to host Retailer Coat Swap at Outdoor Retailer

PrimaLoft, a specialist in comfort solutions and high-performance insulations and fabrics, will host the second Retailer Coat Swap on January 21, 2015 at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2015.

PrimaLoft has invited retailers to its booth - 39043 to trade in gently-used coats for a new PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Down Blend jacket.

PrimaLoft will donate the coats to Salt Lake City’s Splore that facilitates life-changing outdoor experiences for people with disabilities and disadvantages.

Earlier Primaloft had successfully organised the Retailer Coat Swap at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2014, also benefitting local Salt Lake City charities.

PrimaLoft Insulation Down Blends feature a patent-pending blend of PrimaLoft permanent water repellent, ultra-fine denier fibres and the highest quality water-repellent, fluorocarbon-free down.

PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Down Blend has comparable warmth in construction to 750 fill power goose down, retains more than 95 per cent of warmth when wet, and dries four times faster than untreated down.

“The PrimaLoft Coat Swap makes it easy for the gathered retail community to help those less fortunate in Salt Lake City to enjoy the outdoors,” said Mike Joyce, PrimaLoft president.

He added, “We appreciate the opportunity to give back to the city that hosts us twice a year.”

Show attendees can track the progress of the coat swap each day at a display case inside the Salt Palace’s East Entrance, where donated coats will be placed.

This year, there will also be new PrimaLoft kiosks around the show floor, demonstrating the makeup and loft of PrimaLoft Insulation Down Blends.

Since its launch in Fall 2014, PrimaLoft Insulation Down Blends has doubled the number of brands for Fall 2015.

In addition, PrimaLoft will support the 2015 Outdoor Inspiration Awards as a Presenting Sponsor on January 22, 2015 in MR250 at the Salt Palace.

The Outdoor Inspiration Awards recognise individuals, groups, and companies whose efforts are above and beyond in inspiring others to enjoy, participate in, and support outdoor activities. (AR)
