Scott Bader has expanded its business in Japan to increase its presence as it is recognised that this is an important growth market for adhesives and composite materials. Scott Bader Japan KK will supply customers with quality composite and adhesive products coupled with the technical support they need to ensure their requirements are fully met.

Industry sectors which will benefit from Scott Bader’s increased presence in Japan are wind energy, marine, land transportation, building and construction, Scott Bader said in a press release.

Conveniently based south of Tokyo in Yokohama, the new business will be managed by Yoshio Mizuno, head of sales and Akira Kamada, responsible for technical customer service. They look forward to forging new business partnerships and steering the business in a positive direction, the release added.

"This is a major step forward for Scott Bader in Asia and for Japan in particular. Scott Bader Japan KK will provide the spring board for us to bring our industry leading products to customers in Japan," John Kemp CEO, Middle East Africa & Asia, said. (RR)
