Shemesh Automation unveils wipes packing machine in London

Shemesh Automation, leading developer of packing machinery, has launched the all in one, Shemesh Automation (SA) XPander, the world’s first, precision designed, single block, complete round wipes packing machine, at a private event in London.

The unique monoblock design encompasses all aspects of round wipes downstream packing from cans, wipes loading, dosing, and sealing, to capping, with smart weight checking. The XPander has a throughput of 30-35ppm, according to a press release.

Run by two operators, the XPander provides flexible and efficient operation and reduces wastage by cutting production time and maintains high levels of product quality. The configuration of the machine offers hands-free operation with the only requirement that the lids and empty cans hoppers are full. Also, with a monoblock footprint of 2m x 2m, the XPander is capable of operating in small spaces.
