ThermHex Waben GmbH, a Germany-based producer of polypropylene (PP) honeycomb cores, has announced that the company increased its capital to €1 million. The shareholders' meeting of the parent company EconCore NV had already approved this in 2020. The increase of €900,000 has now been entered in the commercial register before the end of the financial year.

With the very successful financial year and the capital increase, ThermHex is strengthening its position in the market.

In the coming business year, the company is planning some profound investments. All with the aim of further optimising and expanding the automated and continuous production process of its honeycomb cores and driving forward the digitalisation of its business processes, ThermHex stated in a press release.

The planned investments also support in particular the resource-efficient production process of the honeycomb cores. Certification as a CO2-neutral company and in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 is imminent.
