Zep has rapidly accelerated manufacturing and distribution processes to increase availability for its popular cleaning and disinfecting wipes, Clean’Ems Spirit II disinfectant towels and Clean’Ems hand cleaning towels. Zep is a producer of cleaning and sanitation solutions for food & beverage, industrial & institutional, retail, and vehicle care customers.

For the first time ever, Zep is making the retail version of the wipes available for direct purchase by consumers, while the wholesale version of Clean’Ems Spirit II disinfectant towels remains available for purchase by businesses.

Zep offers a wide array of highly effective cleaning and disinfecting solutions for consumers and professionals. Clean’Ems Spirit II disinfectant towels (included on EPA’s List N) kills 99.9 per cent of bacteria and has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19, on hard non-porous surfaces. Clean’Ems Spirit II disinfectant towels, now available in canister form, and Clean’Ems hand cleaning towels can be purchased at many national retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, and Amazon, or by contacting a Zep sales representative, according to a press release by Zep.

“As the demand for cleaning and sanitising wipes continues to surge amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for ongoing reliable supply and availability of trusted products for consumers and businesses becomes even more critical. By rapidly expanding our portfolio and increasing the availability of wipes, we are proud to quickly and efficiently provide our industrial and retail customers with access to our top-quality cleaning and disinfectant products,” Dan Smytka, Zep chief executive officer said.

“Throughout our 80-year history of providing powerful cleaners and disinfectants, we have always been solutions-oriented, doing whatever we can to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers. During this public health crisis, providing consumers and businesses with added protection against the spread of germs and viruses to stay safe and healthy meant expanding our capabilities to ensure that two of our most popular cleaning and disinfecting wipes were widely available and accessible when our customers needed them most,” Smytka said.
