The European Union (EU) has approved a support grant of €5 million for the ‘Transformation to Technical Textiles in Denizli’ project in Turkey. Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO) president Ugur Erdogan said the project is a first in the history of the industrial city. Willing entrepreneurs can work in this centre and produce samples, he said.

The centre in Denizli will host manufacturers that will produce parts of planes, helicopters, drones, yachts, cars, skis and guitars, Erdogan was quoted as saying by Turkish media reports.

He hosted Turkey Home Textile Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TETSIAD) president Hasan Hüseyin Bayram and its board members recently.
